Loop Generation is one of London’s most loved pre-loved designer destinations. Founded in 2019 by friends and co-founders Ewa Kozieja and Piotr Krzymowski. They started the brand to prove that luxury fashion and responsibility can live in the same wardrobe, curating high end pre-loved clothing and accessories both online and from their flagship store in Chelsea at 171-175 Draycott Avenue.
Their latest concept store spans more than 3,000 square feet and feels more like a gallery than a typical second hand shop. Rails are spaced out, light pours in, and each piece has room to breathe.

When retail tools don’t fit resale
As Loop’s consignor network expanded, from influencers, stylists, private wardrobes across London, the cracks widened. Traditional retail tools are built for “buy stock once, sell endlessly.” Resale is the opposite.
Loop Generation needed:
Resale-first workflows with clear vendor links and commissions
Support for one-of-one designer pieces with unique attributes
Accurate VAT Margin Scheme tracking for every single item
Generic POS systems couldn’t handle it. Workarounds multiplied. Errors risked damaging consignor trust. Tax compliance felt precarious. And staff were losing time re-typing data instead of curating wardrobes.
That’s when Loop Generation found Circle-Hand, a software built specifically for resale and consignment.

A new operational backbone
In 2023, Loop Generation migrated more than 3,000 items into Circle-Hand, connecting each piece to its vendor and payout history. From that day on, Circle-Hand became the single source of truth, with Shopify and PayPal POS acting as sales channels.
Core improvements included:
One unified inventory and vendor database
Automated VAT Margin Scheme reporting
Clear consignor accounts with full visibility
AI-assisted item intake: categorisation, brand suggestions, descriptions
A single, streamlined intake flow instead of three fragmented systems

4. The results: operational calm at scale
Today, Loop Generation manages more than 10,000 registered items and 1,300 vendors and sellers inside Circle-Hand.
What changed:
Data entry cut by two-thirds by using Circle-Hand as central inventory management system
Consignor trust increased through transparent dashboards and payout histories
VAT Margin Scheme compliance simplified with precise per-item tracking
The team gained hours back each week by eliminating manual copying
Instead of operating around spreadsheets, Loop Generation now operates from a stable, scalable infrastructure, one that matches the ambition of their brand and the complexity of modern resale.
Their journey shows that resale stores can keep their boutique soul and run at professional scale. If your shop sees its own “before” in Loop Generation’s story, it may be time to build your “after.”
